Hello people
I am new to the forum and would like some advice. I want to protect my bike from accidental damage from knocking it over or dropping, does anyone know where the best place to purchase crash bars?
I don't seem to be able to find a uk supplier for the 08 model
Thanks in advance.

The genuine Kawasaki ones, paid a lot less from a supplier in Germany, yet to find out if the work (!) but look like they'll do the job nicely!

The rear bars fit all models as I don't think the rear peg assembly was affected in the facelift.
I bought the crash bars, put them on a shelf, never installed them, and nothing happened. I also never ran into any elephants, tigers, or bears (I did see a bear run in front of me once. I don't think he was from Chicago). I can heartily recommend a good shelf. Does wonders.
ProjektD make some excellent crash bobbins for the original GTR. No fairing cutting required.
They delivered to me (from Taiwan) in a fortnight. Others have had different experiences of delivery.
Cheers
Paul B.
