Thought I'd use me old GSX750F for work today as opportunity of p/x on a versys 650 at a local dealer to work.
And, seeing the :shit: weather forecast thought it'd be a good time to check out the new Halvarssons' kit just bought.
Little did I know that reserve fuel feed / supply had decided to die over the last 4 months! :asshole:
Either that or water, nay ice, got into electrics under the tank!
Needless to say, 06:30 under a bridge before junction 1 of the M5 is not a particularly nice place to be! :helpsmilie:
I'm with Brittania rescue, they called out a chap working for S.O.S. motorcycle recovery, sterling service.
Had a '15 reg ZZR 14 on board also which had been down the road - heading for insurance estimation.......ouch!
Talking GTR's he has one, chap from Walsall, so may even be one of the kindred spirit on this bit of web-space, nice to hear him say that he's never had to recover a GTR1400!
Anyhow, BIG thanks to the chap and to S.O.S. M/C recovery - great service! :clap:
Only bad bit is still had to get to work after being recovered home! :sad:
