Title: PILLION GRIPPER SEAT?
Post by: sidneyworm on April 11, 2016, 08:27:08 PM
Anyone managed to locate a gripper seat cover for the pillion on the GTR?  Can't seem to find one anywhere and the Mrs keeps sliding around!  Had one on the ZZR which did the job but struggling to find one for my GTR.  Cheers

welcome to this forum where you will find plenty good sound advice and and just a little leg pulling   :mfr_lol:

Why not drop into the introduction section and tell us a bit more about yourself

In the meantime the only thing I can find that might be of use to you is this, which may or may mot help

Get a tribo cover for the ZZR1400. It'll fit the GTR just fine

Cheers

Have you tried that 'non-slip' mat stuff they sell for keeping mobiles on dashboards? You can get it at Halfords or eBay. I used some to protect my tank from my tank bag. I know it won't be very durable, but its cheap and you could velcro it in place.
Worth a try for a couple of quid.

Methinks not a workable solution...  I have a velour type seat (Russell).   She doesn't slide on it but it's so comfortable she keeps falling asleep and banging her helmet to mine.  I could be a bit more aggressive but then she hits me on the head..  Either way, I get hit on the head.

Cheers for the suggestions, going with the ZZR1400 suggestion - they're on ebay at present.
