Title: Any experience of Transalps?
Post by: snowy on April 11, 2016, 01:49:39 AM
Can feel the need for a change in me garage!
GTR's a stayer, well happy, fancy a lighter commuter / trail stylee thing instead of our old GSX!
Always fancied a Transalp, they seem to hold good money, Honda quality and engineering I 'spose!
Just wondering if anyone out there has experience?
Is there much difference between 600 / 650 / 700, think they're all a tad under-geared?
Hear horror stories of front sprocket / driveshaft issues, again any warnings or advice of what to look for appreciated?
If anyone fancies a '92 GSX750F, all together and long MOT as a hack let me know.

Transalp was my first bike
Always liked to bike with it, really very much !  Its totally different biking
Only opportunity let me change towards bmw before getting the perfect gtr 😜

Only needed to change the chains a lot... Depends on what roads you ride ( half ofroad me than...sandy)

Versys 650 is a nice bike and very easy to ride. In fact so easy you have to watch you don't start taking liberties with its forgiving nature.
