I have chips away here to look at a few scratches on my Magnesium Grey 2010... he needs the specific paint code as his matcher thingy wont work...
Anyone know the exact code please?

R S Paints are a long established company with a good track record, I have personally used them in the past and have been very pleased, they can be a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for :yes:

I googled it for you and can't confirm the accuracy but this seems to suggest KAW 27Y

Ive had a reply from Kawasaki UK and they don't release the Paint Codes !!!! they have sent me details of a paint shop they work with !! Reply i got below...

The colour of your machine is
Metallic Magnesium Gray.
Unfortunately, the factory does not release the paint codes for any of the models that it produces. We are however affiliated with a paint supply company who hold a vast database of colour matches that they have formulated available in different quantities. The company is RS Motorbike paint, and whilst they may not have your particular colour on file, they are very pro-active and may have a few suggestions if this is the case.

Aside from them not knowing how to spell Concours (they spell it with an e on the end), looks like some good information. I'll freely steal some of it for our site along with their web address.

I do need an aerosol though or a spec of colours for the sprayer to mix up a set. last owner dropped it off the side stand so i have a few marks to cover that need a proper spray

I phoned my local Kwaka dealer to ask them the paint code. They needed the VIN mumber, which I gave them, and they told me (correctly) that my bike was Metallic Moondust Grey, paint code 25X.
