Hi all , so today as im on hols I went into my workshop found some 6 mm carbon fibre sheet and an old sucker mount , cut carbon to size a nd removed the sucker bit , drilled a m6 socket head bolt to match the cam pin to tighten it down and made a thumb screw so alterations can be done without tools . Went for a ride no wobbles or shakes . This is mk1 and I will refine as I go , probably nothing wrong with the available mounts but I do like to fiddle in my workshop .
Charlie
Looks good to me.
nice job Charlie and satisfying that you hàve done it yourself
Thanks , I've always made stuff in my man shed just can't stop, do it for a living but in a more formal environment.
So after a rethink ive made a pillar with the ball on a stalk looks better and more adjustment.
Charlie
Great idea Charlie :punk:
What screws did you use to attach the carbon to the reservoir?
Tony , master cylinder top is held down with m4 ,I've now changed to m4 socket heads s/s 20mm in length there is a piece of thin of vinyl between the two just to ensure they never touch.
Charlie
Thanks Charlie
I might have a go at this when i get time.

well done Charlie, bloody fine job sir
Thanks very much,
If anyone wants to make similar I can help with sourcing carbon as working in the aircraft industry I've got plenty , had a look at the ram mount not seen that mount before but needs more adjustability from my outlook I adjusted I so I can see the screen comfortably wearing my bifocals (bugger that makes me sound old ) the rod is made from an old garmin mount ball tapped m6 and threaded on a stainless bar I put an m6 thread locked up with a little epoxy .hope this helps,
Charlie
