I invited Charlie up to Scotland for an overnight stay on Sunday but regrettably he couldn't make it. I invited Asif also and he couldn't make it.
Then Charlie suggested a ride out on Sunday possibly to Wales which I said I could do but I'm still waiting for a response from him.

Yep, seasons wishes and may there be copious and enjoyable food a plenty!
Just got new jacket and jeans for me and SWMBO, need a good test,  so we'll be heading for Dolgellau / Barmouth or Newborough/ Beaumaris one day next week if anyone's heading for the Welsh coast / Snowdonia.

I didn't realise there were so many comedians in the world. One clown offered me £8k for it and a week later he offered me £7500 for it because he reckoned it would cost him £500 to come and collect it from Birmingham. I suggested.....very politely I hasten to add that he  :censored: off.

Then I had another chap who offered me £8600 which I was happy to accept but he was just a time waster.

So I still have it, however there is a guy on the GS Forum who wants one, Nigel has messaged him and I await contact but I ain't giving it away! 🙄

Don't give it away. Hang on to it and enjoy it. It's a really awesome bike and I wish I had one instead of the GTR. (did I really say that)!

The local paper is reporting a series of Bikesafe events which are being run by North Yorkshire police, there's one tomorrow at Squires cafe, and another on Sunday at Manor Cafe Bellerby which is less than two miles away from here

I'll maybe pop along to one of them

Roger if you're planning on going to Squires tomorrow give us a shout. I want to have a quick ride out before Sunday to bed my brakes in.

Happy Easter to all.

Sat and Sunday is taken up for me with a vintage tractor run ( what would you expect in Devon?) which is raising funds for our Blood bike group. I have to give a talk about the charity to them this evening and tomorrow lead the run. These events are usually a good day.

Mr Wolf, I recently got £7.000 for my 2010 RT so I think the offer you received is taking the proverbial.

I had a Kawasaki er6n I got off a chap it was 3 years old and done 300m he had had it on the back of a motorhome, I thought that I would easy make £500 on it as I only paid £2200 for it. I advertised it for £2750 it was the cheapest one on eBay and I struggled to sell it letting it go for £2400 , 3 years on people was asking more than I was , I wondered how they managed to sell , the article in ride magazine will not have helped you trying to sell the bm , plus trying to find anyone with cash is very hard , like most BMW as long as you have the warranty you are ok to fix all the problems , the moment it runs out , oh dear ,  Kawasaki is bulletproof, a few niggles and that's it , the bm could bankrupt you if it starts to go wrong , hence the big depreciation and hard to sell ,  still good luck,
