Title: Mirrors.....interchangeable ?

Hi,

I/ve got a 2009 bike, I understand from 2010 the mirrors were raised a little (40mm?)....was this done by changing the mirror sail ? If so, can I fit 2010 mirrors ?

No.  Well, I say no as it's usually my first thought when asked a question.  I am pretty sure that they are not interchangeable.

The mirror head is the same, it is the bracket that fits to the bodywork that is different, but Kawasaki only supply a complete unit.
The fitting to the bodywork may be different, I am not sure.

Well I've done a bit of digging....the cowling upper part number stays the same between 2009 and 2010 (55028A-0198) but the Mirror changes (56001A-0113 > 56001A-0182). The difference looks like an offset applied in the mirror sail, so in theory they're interchangeable....

Now I've just got to find a reasonable prices set of post 2010 mirrors....
