has anyone got a paddock stand for hoisting the front of their bike off the deck
I need something to ease the cleaning of the front wheel etc.,
Any suggestions/recommendations ?
Get the wife to push rear of bike down. Front wheel will come up. And you can then clean it at your leisure.

good idea....................I'll leave it to you to suggest it to her :mfr_lol:
She could read a book while you clean the wheel..

or hold your mug of tea.
How about a wheel roller I think thats what there called , you put your wheel on it and rotate it .
Better that you sit on the bike drinking tea and let your wife clean the wheels
One of the better ideas is to drill some loops into the garage floor and then place a ratchet strap over the rear portion of the bike which when tightened up and hooked through the loops will lift the front of the bike. Alternatively use the rear foot pegs as an anchorage point again using the loops in the garage floor.
Any ZZR1400 front paddock stand will fit. The rear is more difficult as you will need to fit bobbins.
Thank You all for the ideas,
Now, I have checked with Gill about her role in proceedings and she says "no chance" :mfr_lol:
I use a scissor type platform under the headers. Allows both wheels off the road if required and is rock steady
Burchy, I had wondered about lifting the bike under the headers, but TBH I was concerned about applying so much weight to the headers, is it okay to do this without distorting or damaging the headers ? It's a bit scary
I've done it many times, both on the GTRs and others such as the 900s and 1000s. Never had a problem. It doesn't take that much weight to alter the balance point on the centre stand and makes removing/fitting wheels a breeze

Too bad, would have made a nice picture to share.
I have a paddock stand but don't use it, I have a small trolley jack which I have a piece of wood on the lifting bit, whittled it down to fit and stuck a small bit of carpet on the wood, I just slide it under the engine behind the oil drain plug and gently lift it up.
Simples.
Alan
mmmmm.....the thinking cap is on now
be careful not to release the bike back to the front wheel from leaning on the back as can go forward to quick and come of centre stand
