Title: Bar Risers
Post by: Stolichnaya on March 15, 2016, 09:08:35 PM

Hi All
Had a great run on Saturday on the GTR. First time in since buying!  A few updated needs on having a bash...

Anyone got any bar risers they no longer want it use? I need to try a set as i had really bad ache on hands. Bar risers should cure this. Seen some new on eBay but thought I'd ask here if anyone has a set no longer needed

If anything be has and odds n sods or bits they no longer need give me a shout. You never know
Cheers
Stoli

Hi Stoli,

Before you invest in some, I would recommend riding yours for a bit and then trying someone's who has the bar risers fitted. You'll probably get more used to the riding position and I found the position with risers a lot worse and removed mine as it affects the handling a lot.

I'd hate you to invest in some only to have to sell them again in a few months :-)

Hi Phil

Ive done one 200 mile day and on sat did a 160 mile day.  I "seem" to be resting thumbs on the bars instead of full palms.  I thought this may be down to the lean fwd position and that bar risers would give me a more natural position.

I need to drop the pegs too as I feel a bit bunched up in the legs.  im not tall either at a very plain-Jane 5' 11"

Thanks OC...  erm..  that helps !!!
