Very happy owner of new GTR. Wind buffeting only issue so going to buy a taller screen - wondering if anyone has tried both back to back ?
Awesome bike !!!! Can't wait for run in to be over and done with - 4k revs isn't much to be playin with

Hi XAX and welcome.

You are spoilt for choice when it comes to screen. What's your height and inseam?

I'm 6ft with a 32" in steam (I think!). Here's the screen's I've tried

Cee Baileys Ultra Tour: Raise by 2" and am in clear air
Kawasaki touring (08-09) - At max, still buffering
MRA Vario: Nice shield, needs to be bigger
Casci: I think its the medium shield I've got and happy so for with summer use. No buffeting, but does have tendency to push wind onto arms. Might not be ideal in winter

I was quite happy with standard screen, but have brought a slightly bigger one off Skidmarkx...seems little less as long as you ride with it all way up. I thought the standard one was good about half way.
Just thought I would try it. But dot discount the Skidmarx ones..indeed all there extras very good including huger.

Welcome

I have a 2011 model so touring screen as standard but at 6'3" ,34" inseam, found it buffeted me. Tried a Puig, similar to Skidmarx I think, taller but narrower and I like it, cleans the air flow nicely. Tried a Calsci large screen too but I don't like it, when fully up it's better than the other 2 but any other position buffets me and the screen pressure is awful.

It's so personal, I don't like being totally isolated so don't run with screen fully up, so the Puig works for me.

Tried a laminar lip too, works well but I hated the look.

I'll stick some pics up later

But the bike rocks!! First 1000 miles has been great, and you will adore it when you can fully use the engine ;D

I think like Fjr the screens are adjustable , so become an issue of buggering around with them all the time....

Thanks guys - really appreciate the feedback.  I'll get buying and will post my thoughts after it.  Have a trip to S France planned for late July once bike's had it's first service so looking forward to that.  Anyone run the Route Napoleon from Grenoble to Grasse ?  I'm told it's an awesome biking route.

I'll try to do at least part of it end of next month. It's supposed to be superb.
I'll be in Savoie between Chambery and Grenoble from 16th of July to beginning of August. Unfortunately I won't be able to tour much because I'll be babysitting my grandson during the week.
I checked the roads on the map and will try to get down to Parc de Verdon (aka the Grand Canyon of Europe) and back to Chambery on a Sunday.

I'm 188cm - mounted the PUIG +12 tinted screen... VERY good! Even for "wife" ....
