Hi,

Has anyone used/heard of these ?

They claim to be suitable for the GTR .....

I can't see how it's supposed to lift the GTR.

one of the members of the Kawasaki Versys 1000 forum has an Abba lift which he says is superb.

I'm a bit unsure about dangling my GTR in space TBH.

So I'll make do with the centre/mainstand

The Abba stands do not work on the GTR, I know cos I wasted my money buying one and then realised it wouldn't work. I contacted Abba and they confirmed that their lifts are not currently compatible with the GTR.

So what do are you supposed to do to your bike when it's up in the air , the wheels would still need support if you took them off ,all that weight is hanging down , I think a proper bench is the best thing to have , :biker3:

The idea of the Abba stands are, amongst other things that you can lift the bike to a sensible height so that when working on it, it is at eye level. Makes life easy for working on brakes, cleaning under the bike, removing exhaust etc. Basically it saves a lot of crawling on the floor.

The manufacturer claims it can be used on a GTR....I'm a little bit sceptical, I still have an ABBA stand that's supposed to work in the same way and isn't compatible at all

This is by far the best lift for the bike without having to get the platform/bench type.
