Title: Projekt D Sliders - Any Top Tips ?
Post by: hensor on February 09, 2016, 01:09:09 PM
Hi All,

I've just invested in a set of sliders from Projekt D for my '09, after a near miss with a van in a car park..... :gun_bandana:

Has anyone here fitted these, and is there anything to be wary of ?

I fitted Projekt D "crash bobbin thingymajigs" on my '09 GTR.

You'll need to strip the bike of the screen, "glove box" and side fairings (all except the "belly pan" parts) to fit them.

Make sure you have some kind of extension bar that will fit over your allen keys - you'll be removing some fairly big bolts which are thread-locked.

Other than that, it's a fairly easy task.

Best of luck

Cheers

Paul B.

Thanks......as long as I don't take out both mounting bolts at the same time.....
