I have a pair of 2inch need a bit of paint or polish £30 Posted with bolts
Money was sent via Paypal, and I've received nothing. And no reply to emails or private messages. It's only £30, but it still :censored: me off.
Don't deal with this guy. That's if he ever re-appears; he was last online 20th Dec, which was when he sent me this private message:

Do you have any redress through Paypal

I thought that was what you were saying
I had a dispute with someone sending me a radio diagram through Paypal. Never got it. Paypal refunded my money through their dispute process.
raise a dispute with PPal , as long as you didnt Gift It ?
Can Admin on here help supply any of his details, he is called derek and lives in manchester and maybe is surname is Fox ? is there any clues in PMs he has sent recieved into his home address , do we have his private email address stored here? maybe we could get his address somehow so paul can contact him directly ?
He's on our site and was active as of yesterday. I think the best thing would be to open a Paypal dispute and get the money back that way. Paul could open an account with us and then send him a PM or email through us. Barring that I'm not sure what our policy is in giving out that kind of information. Not sure how Asif feels about that and as I'm not our forum owner, I'd have to talk with a higher authority than me. I can certainly see the information on our site, more than what you see here.
Any personal information held on here, assuming there was any which there isn't, regarding any members would be deemed to be confidential and it would not be able to be disclosed.
When you register on the forum you provide a user name and valid email address but I think that's it.
Perhaps someone else has dealt with him successfully in the past and may still have his address etc, hopefully this is a simple misunderstanding, I've never heard of anything similar happening involving members on here before.
Messages to him now sent via this site, Jim's site, his registered Paypal address, and via eBay (as when I asked for his Paypal details he sent me his eBay ID).
No reply to any of them.
The Paypal transaction was done as a "Send cash" - my mistake - so I cannot raise a dispute with them.
I won't be holding my breath for the bar risers or my money being returned.
C'est la vie.

He was on our site the 22nd of this month. No posts, just active. So he got the PM.
google search his email address and his name you may get a match on postal address , long shot but its been know before
I live in manchester , same as Delfox , i dont mind knocking on his door
I hate to do this, but......
Should you wish to do so, go down this route.

:ban:
That's certainly an option.. I'd hate for him to stick anyone else. Piss me off, it would.
Result!
I don't know if it was me making the matter public, or sending a daily pm from here, from Jim's site, an eBay message and an email, but Delfox managed to get the bar risers posted and they arrived today.
I'm a very reasonable guy; if he'd have emailed me at the beginning of January saying "Sorry mate, had a hectic Christmas and New Year and haven't got round to sending them" I'd have totally understood. It was the stony silence and lack of any reply I found annoying.
Anyway. We can draw a line under this one. Thanks for the support and offers of help  in pm or otherwise.
Cheers,
Paul B.
good to hear that you've got things sorted
nice result paul, I fear that if you had not have started this thread the outcome may have been different.
such a shame you had to go to these lengths . future buyers beware
I always like to post next day using tracking and signed for service, and give the buyer a tracking number.. That way I know I have done my part
