Hi guys, been out the garage cleaning and polishing and need to get a new front tyre. On the back is a good Bridgestone 023. What can I put on the front, as it got to be the same or can I put another make on.
You can mix but it needs to be the same type of tyre, not that you will want to fit crossplies or bias belted. :mfr_lol:
For best results try to stick with the same, but I ran a PR2 front with an Avon Storm rear for 4000 miles with no bad effects.
Also be wary not to mix 0-degree radials with older radials.
PR3, PR4, Storm, Angel, Z8 should all be fine with the 023 rear.
Boomers advice is good, if you are still unsure ask a good tyre retailer for his opinion and recommendations
Personally I dont mix makes and/or brands

It's all to do with "slip angles" of the tyre carcass. Like OC I tend to stick to matched pairs if I can.
Pair of Angel gt's lovely.
Thanks for all the help guys, I got a good 023 on the back and really fancied putting a PR 3 on the front. I don't want to change a pair.

I've just had a pair of T30 fitted and they transformed the ride, I know PRD after a run of punctures in Mitchlin PR's has not a bad word to say about his Angels.
Ask your tame tyre company what they recommend to go with the 023. Prob a 021 which should be as cheap as chips
021 ?????
:shit: :shit: :shit: :shit: :asshole: :death:
