If this doesn't give you goose bumps, nothing will.

First time I've heard it.  That Canadian website has lots of 'stories' dealing with the past.  Very few new Christmas ones around that I'm interested in, but if you know of any, I'd be glad to hear them.

PRD, this got me to thinking and drinking...always a good combination.  The stories and shows that I like the best are the ones that I heard/saw in the 60's and 70's and of course anything to do with aircraft.   That it has to do with the RAF and Mosquitos is a definite bonus to me.  And mentioning Lakenheath is a double bonus.   Around that time, my dad was there on a TDY from Ellsworth AFB in an RB-36.  That's when he met my mom (from Ipswich)...

I really don't like the new stuff.  I'm nearly 60 and not much on new things coming out.  Probably the newest is the 'Polar Express'.  I like that one.   My grandkids could care less.  They didn't watch any of the Christmas shows that I taped..all the traditional US ones that I liked as a kid.  I wound up erasing them all after watching them. Quite sad actually.

I think I'll stick with the old ones as they make me happy.  And of course any 'new' old ones I come across like the one I shared.

I'm a bit of an old fashioned fan myself Jim, and last night we attended a Brass Band Christmas recital performed by our towns Brass Band, it was held at a large superb local venue and was attended by 650 people, it was absolutely fantastic.

Whilst on the subject of Christmas oldies do you remember this one Jim
