I really think that's a step too far, well it is for me at least, I would find the displays distracting, and as for the vibrating alert system :shocked:
I think the helmet is a start for our Mars program. God knows what they'll run into there.
I can't even handle a backup camera in a vehicle, much less in a helmet. This 'concept' would work well for women (Debs comes to mind) who can focus on multiple things at once. I can't. I'm a single thread kinda guy. Too many inputs and I space out and shut down.
I have rear view mirrors and know how to use them.
