I'm dumbstruck by the vile nature of these events, it is truly horrific.

I have two (biking) friends who live in Paris, one was actually at the Rock concert event, he's safe thank god.

With regards to the other friend we are still waiting to hear from him

My friends are safe,       but only just

One was at home with his family, he lives in central Paris, he is shocked but okay.

The other was at the concert, he heard all the gunfire and with a couple of others rushed into a small electric supply room, barricaded themselves in, which was lucky as one of the terrorists tried to break into the room they were hiding in, he then assumed it was locked so went away

They finally emerged much later when they heard the police and troops shouting

Close shave or what

It's going to take a ground campaign to erase them...bombs and missiles only do so much.  No prisoners, either.
