So this afternoon I spent some time mounting a reserve battery in the top box. It's the same sealed type as the main battery. I do a lot of camping abroad when touring and wanted somewhere secure to charge phones iPads camera etc if I'm not on site so I thought I'd put a battery in the top box and then it can be locked when charging devices etc. It charges from the rear accessory wiring already on the bike.l when riding Seems to work well according to the multimeter 😁 I'll post some pics if anyone's interested.

Couldn't you have just fed a multi charger straight from the rear accessory leads into the top box, the type of chargers that have multiple connection points, USB, cig lighter, micro USB etc.
