Post by: marc55476 on November 06, 2015, 03:45:51 PM
Hello All
I have just found out that I need new front discs for my 2010 gtr 1400 (ABS version) I am told Original disks are £250 each.....
Can anyone recommend a good cheaper after market set?
Many Thanks

I know they are expensive, but I wouldn't scrimp on the only thing that is stopping you!

I think I replaced mine at 42k with OEM - bike suffers enough with the brakes.

thats all I'm going to say!

Arashi discs.
Stopping power as good as OEM if not better.
Don't rust.
Now 25k miles on mine and have hardly worn.
Use with EBC HH pads.
Cheap too, but still good quality.
Remember that I weigh 27 stone/165kg so my front brakes take a beating.
OEM discs lasted 42k miles and never warped.
