What a machine
I think it's a USA spec although I'm not completely sure. I don't think it's down on power though .... Plenty quick last night on the m62 (the private road bit that allows 140+)
Looking forward to getting some miles in this week
Congratulations
Btw there are policemen on this forum :mfr_lol: (it's true)
Cheers
Honest guy, 'twas a private three lane carriageway !
which bit of the m62 is private ? to allow you such a reckless speed
The stretch of road in my mind

But they aren't watching all the time....hopefully.
Welcome FurQ, which part of Yorkshire you in. Many of us on here are Yorkshire based, myself included. What makes you think your GTR is a US Spec?
Since you gents are from Yorkshire, I picked up a calendar this past summer which was named 'The Yorkshire Year 1956'. I'll have to take pictures of it and send your way. I would have purchased it anyway as it's from England, but the year is special to me. As I was in country at the time although not in Yorkshire. It was published by the Yorkshire Conservative Newspaper Company, Ltd. at Change Court, Albion Street, Leeds. And printed at their Doncaster Office. All pictures by Yorkshire Post Staff Photographers.
I suspect it's an American import because it has the reflective discs .... Yellow at the front and red at the rear .... The v5 might yield some more clues when it returns from Swansea. It certainly feels like it's got more than 105bhp, pulls well decent top end etc, was just wondering if there was something on the bike that might give some clues as to its origins etc
Congrats and join the Club  :punk:
Welcome along to this great forum
So impressed by this bike .... Will get the newer model after winter :punk:
If it says Concours 14 it will be from the states. If it says 1400GTR it wont be.

Yeah I never thought of that!
Doh! Unless the previous owner removed all the badges which some of our ilk due. Not me, though. The more badges and warning stickers the better.
If it's French special low powered 100bhp model

I always move my clutch to the right of bike when riding in Europe.
