Title: Ktm 1050 test ride
Post by: nightrider on September 26, 2015, 12:38:04 PM
Took out a 1050 yesterday from  teesdales in thirsk for a test ride , was most impressed the light weight , the clutch and light throttle was a joy to use , the roll on power in 4th and 5th was more than adequate, handerling was excellent , soaked up all the bumps with ease , a real nice bike , the screen was noisy and the seat a bit hard but could sort that out , they offered me 7500 part ex on the gtr against £11200 on the road with luggage , which is £6500 in real terms when other dealers have it priced at £10000 ,still not bad that is as a standard bike with all me extras off , but on the ride back I still love me gtr , so going to buy it as a another bike , just trying to get round the wife to why I need 3 bikes , as I have a 2006 Ktm superduke already , women they just don't understand, lol, wives may come and go but they will always be bikes ,  :biker3:

hmmmmmmm

sold my GTR for a 1290 Super Adventure!  and absolutely love it (most of the time).

Not sure the 1050 is even in the same league, but if money was no object I would be tracking down (already done), my GTR and buying it back, even with 55000 miles on the clock!  but I wouldn't buy it back for £6500....
