Title: Corbin seat
Post by: Kwikasfuki on August 31, 2010, 10:36:34 PM
I've uploaded some images of my ex-corbin seat with back rest.

It is lower than the stock seat and also pushes you back, meaning you are stretched for the handlebars (I'm 6ft). The seat is hard but comfortable. I didn't find it any better than stock and to be honest, I prefer the design and sitting position of the stock seat.

That also is hard to get used to, it takes around 2000 miles to break it in. And after 500 miles stint your ass will thank you for Corbin. You mean ex, you arleady sold it?

Yup, I sold it. I have a spare seat that I will get Tony Archer to adjust.

I like the look of that seat, may I ask how much you sold it for or what is a reasonable price to pay for one?

I bought it second hand for £300 and sold it for the same amount

Pricey, but the Bagster seat I had on my last CB1300 was that sort of cash.

Don't know where you are located but a custom re-shape/re-build might be cheaper than the Corbin and, unlike Corbin/Sargeant, pretty much guaranteed to be spot on for you.

I use http://www.vikingmotorcycleseats.co.uk (http://www.vikingmotorcycleseats.co.uk) and Lee has sorted seats on several bikes over the years for me and los of friends too, top bloke and not expensive either.

I know others on here and elswhere that have used Tony Archer too, great work

Just a thought as I know the Corbin seats are beautiful but not neccesarily for everybum ;D

thank you for your answer....for me it's very hard to find custom seat here,i just try to fiind a better  and reliable options to fix the proble with the passenger seat...it's very slippery  on the brake period and for long journey is not very confortable......
best regards
