i managed to get at the idle adjuster, which was tucked behind the fairing by the dealers.they set the tick over at about 1200/1250 rev's,while i was running the engine up to temp,in my garden,i heard someone in the garden,a bloke was stood by the garden gate & his wife was behind me,she asked me to turn the bike off, which i did,she said your the one,you passed our house up the lane at a silly speed in a 30mph zone & your revving of the engine upsets our dog.i asked the bloke what colour was the bike & he said it was green.i said that wasn't me,the gtr has not been out for a couple of week's,however i was out on the triumph, earlier today, which is black.he told me next time he see's it he will get the number plate & notify the police, they need to get a life.
I don't wish to fall out with anybody if I can help it but I'd have to have told these two sad gits to get a life, and to tell the police to see where that would have got them..........................no where :mfr_lol: then I'd have told them to F off and get off my property or I'd report them to the police for threatening behaviour.
Sad bastards :2guns:
The world is full of ill informed over opinionated muppets like that, the best compliment you can pay them is to ignore them and like a smelly fart they'll dissappear on the next breeze :mfr_lol:
As I've said before "don't look for logic where it doesn't exist"
I wouldn't say I was anti-bike but many years ago I certainly wasn't in love with them. Had one ride with a friend on a farm in my teen years and nearly got thrown into a pond. My mind (such as it was) gradually turned in favor of them in the early to mid 90s. It only takes a few bad ones to sour someone on all of them, unfortunately.
