That link just takes us the daily motion home page, and I don't want to sign up.
Can you add the video to youtube?
Didn't know the blinkers needed fixing.
I have updated the topic subjet. I was talking about blinker in the mirror
I have unprivatized the video so that you can see it.
I do not have a youtube account. Sorry
PS : this morning i have noticed that the strip is cut at the 180° bend (where the plier is)
I guess I am going to have either to cut it at that exact lenght
i quite like that
Sadly, I do as well. How do they do in full daylight?
I really like that.. Must do the same
In full daylight they obviously behave less well than the CREE one that I have inside the blinkers but they are good enought to attract view in the rear mirror of a car.
The issue that I have is finding double led strip that are shorter than 30cm.
The need for the mirror is 20cm. 30cm is too long, hence you have to bend it inside the mirror = crack (this morning)
20cm strip dual led are not easy to find..
Being searching ebay with no luck..
aint got a clue what this post is about as no video/pictures are visible

It's about fitting LED strip lights to the mirrors and connecting to your indicators

:agree:
:hammer: Don't yer just hate that when it happens :gun_bandana: :mfr_lol:
The problem is the forum code is trying to embed a video automatically, badly, having detected it's a video.
Here's the link, you need to go to the page to view the video. Looks an interesting idea, but I'm not sure how 'finished' those LED strips look close up before installation.
Link to video on DailyMotion site (http://dai.ly/x343i5r)
Thx Stx :punk:
Looking nice , good idea
A great look, and really effective, cool..... I also like the look of the blue lights sidelights, was considering some cree ones to mount in mirror, so whilst doing one job I may look to do the other at the same time, just need to convince myself that the LED strip have a factory finished look finish them? I did see some LED fibre optic cable that would give a solid line look, so will investigate that also...
My sidelight led are actually pure white. Dunno why on the video it gives a blue effect.
The strip is obviously not as clean as a factory audi one but as they are mounted on the black part of the mirror (which is facing the ground) you won't see them that much.
The real issue if getting the strip at the exact Lenght of the mirror (20cm) and avoid having to bend it as I had to do on this first test. I am working on a v2 version now
Regarding the fibre optic type you are talking about : issue they are either white or orange which is too easy to spot as bike is dark. My solution uses black pcb strip
