Title: GTR owners meet(and K1600's)
Post by: PRD on September 01, 2015, 03:49:14 PM
I know you have been there before but I think The Belfry in Littledean has it all. New accomadation block and good value, and good places to ride to,

Think that's a great venue. Oh and don't forget the Suzuki Intruder 1800 BOSS 👍

I'll join that, if it happens! (Would either be on a Versys or old Honda Four, though).

Have to say it doesn't matter what you arrive on/in we are all friends and it's the meeting of friends that is the crux of the meet.

Just don't want the downpour we had the other weekend  :mfr_lol:

A repeat visit to that room can be arranged Bro  :mfr_lol:

With the new 2 story block built where the retaining wall we all parked against was in the rear car park there should be more than enough rooms to avoid my twin Bro Pros's skittle noise problem.

If you all fancy another visit I can make enquiries ref a date June next year when I'm in there this month ?

I'd be interested in coming along, it would be good to put faces to names. Although it isn't much of a ride, Littledean is only 20 miles away from home!

I think it is time to decide the dates for next year so if we are planning trips we can fit this  one in.

This thread is going down the complicated route again....

You need one person to make a decision as to when and where and that's it sorted, this method actually works. Otherwise you get numerous people all with different wishes & availability and it'll be like the year we were going to go to Torquay but it never came off because there was too much f*%#ing about.

A decision will be made in the New Year as to when and where the meet will be held and then this will be announced. If it was as simple as selecting a destination it would be a breeze but there is a fair bit of research and hours spent calling numerous establishments to enquire on suitability, availability, secure parking, standard of accommodation, pricing, etc, etc....long before we decide where we are going.

If anyone has some firm suggestions then please fee free if you wish to PM me and all that info will go in the hat. Likewise if someone would wish to take on the responsibility and commitment of being the organiser of the event, then again, please feel free to PM me.

Thanks Steve
