Nothing wrong in staying out in the middle or offside lane as long as you're not impeding traffic behind you. It prevents a lot of unnecessary ducking in, pulling out, over and over again.
Agree fully, but it's those who just sit there, unaware of what's around them. Sure it's an on the spot fine France etc, why not here? Still reckon all drivers shud be re-assesed every 5 years to keep the entitlement to drive, then further training as required. We all get lazy in habits.

Doubt you would get an on the spot fine in France, they would just pull you at the Toll.
If you sit in the second lane and aren't going fast enough, you'll soon have a Frenchy or Belgian a foot off your bumper......enough to make you move over ! :yes:
