When I was in Berlin during the early 80's I was lucky enough to go up in a Gazelle Helicopter with the Army Air Corps.

It was great to go back 2 years ago to see how much things had changed. :banana:
I was there on school trip in 1977. West Berlin was in technicolour and East Berlin was all grey and brown. Would love to go back one day.

I went there last January, even 25 years on, there is a distinct difference between the old east/west areas. The square blocks of residential flats in the old Eastern sector are very distinctive.
I visited Germany on several occasions between 1980 and 1995 at the time I worked for VW /Audi, one of my first visits included a coach trip to see the Berlin wall which was a very sobering experience

I'd not realised that the wall encircled West Berlin............not stopped to think about it really. How the world has changed in our life time
