Finally got the bike, I found the ride a little hard after the GS so I went to adjust the rear preload and found the adjuster extremely hard to turn. Should it be so stiff or is there something wrong with it?
sounds like its seized mate
i had the same issue with mine, theres a thread on here.i unbolted mine, suspended it upside down & sprayed wd40 between the cylinder & the black cap.left it over night, its been ok since, you need to turn it occasionally to keep it free.hope this helps you out.

It's a common problem Mikey, but don't worry its easy to fix as Debs' repair demonstrates ....she's a bit of a star ya know  :mfr_lol:
Thanks for the replies. I've considered doing the repair but decided on reflection I'll take it back to the dealers cos I've got three months guarantee
They'll probably replace it then. I can't see them cleaning it up.

Good plan ...I didn't know about your warranty ~ tell the dealer its a well known problem and insist on a new replacement
