Title: Carbon Fibre Wrap
Post by: grahamp2505 on August 21, 2015, 01:20:00 PM
I have been thinking about wrapping the lower part (matt black plastic) of the fairing in carbon fibre, has anybody else done this or any experience of using these wraps, any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers Graham  :cheesy:

I think Debs has used carbon wrap on a smaller scale...I guess she'll be along to advise

It can be a bitch to put on but looks nice when done..
The only problem I have found is, if the bike is left in the heat of the sun then the wrap can peel off on the edges, depending how much overlap you have.

Thanks Debs, I hadn't really thought about the heat, both engine and ambient temperature!

If you want to get them done, then I would suggest you get them carbon dipped..
