There can't be much difference in temperature today between central London and the inner core of the Earth !
So, I trust you are all out on the bikes in this spell of FILTHY hot weather ??? Gone off to your favourite bikers haunt or just a few hours by your self ?? I have just come back from work ... on the train, which was the cooler option ... didn't fancy working and then getting kitted up in all the kit and riding home ...too warm and sweaty ! That's my excuse anyway ! ;D
So come on then ... are you all out, or BBQing, or have you been dragged down the shops, or even worse to Tesco ??
I have 24hrs off now, so BBQ for me this evening with cold beer, wife and daughter glued to the final of BGT, then some general chit chat around the table in the garden until we have all had enough .........
Emotionally drained after a week of Coronation Street, don't trust myself to get back on bike yet xx

What are you talking about?
It's bl...y cold up here in Newcastle and we haven't seen the sun all day.
I even turned the heated grips on because I was getting cold hands when I took my new GTR for the first spin today.
I'm glued to the telly as well watching BGT. Michael Collins to win hopefully.
As for the last two days of sunshine, I've been working. :(
The weather has been shite here today. One of our relations passed away as well today, so need to head up to Aberdeen tomorrow for the funeral on Monday. Was thinking of going up on the bike but am being forced to go by car and drive everyone else up.
Instead of watching BGT, I'm about to get on my spinning bike and do a session.
NB, sorry to hear about the passing away of one of your relatives. :(
Aye, but didn't come as a shock as she's been ill for a while and tbh she had a good innings. I view it more as a celebration of life.
On a selfish level, I would love to go up on my bike
Do you have a side car ;D

There all riding Motor Bikes with T shirts & shorts on around here...Twat's I know, , but shows you how Warm it is here. Beach infront of me has been like Benidorm.
Yesterday on Hartside pass it was only 5 degrees and raining.
But we still did a 200 mile run and even though I didn't wear any rain gear stayed relatively dry due to the bigger windscreen and the great fairing on the 2011 GTR.
And while everybody is rubbishing the OEM Bridgestones she behaved herself even in the wet.
Well, if O21s are rubbish I wonder how PR3s or Angels will feel like?
Can't wait to have her run in and give it a bit of stick >:(
Totally agree Mecki me and some mates were up in the lakes yesterday and although it stayed dry it was bloody freezing, also agree about the tyres they do feel a bit skittish but I would'nt throw them away before they had worn out, just take more care in the wet. :o
Well, sounds like you are having a bad time up north ... after that initial starting of the thread it rained for 24 hours but the temp gauge was still showing 16 and today a bit better at 20 ..amazing what difference there is from N to S. I hope it improves for you all so you too can get out there and switch off those heated grips !
They deserve all the bad weather they get.
Serves them right for mentioning Constipation Street on a motorcycling forum!
;)
My better half only watches Haemorrhoid Farm so I don't have to put up with all that Mancunian Mush or the Cockney Crap.
Better still, I got a Sky+ box so she watches it when I'm not around. ;D ;D ;D
As for the weather down here,... got soaked on Monday morning, despite the waterproofs.
Other than that, been OK so far down here. Showers and a bit breezy.
More pleasant riding conditions than hot and sunny!
WTF has happened to summer? I know the weather is an ongoing joke, but the north is getting the crappiest weather
I fear its down in Saf too my friend...no-one is immune from the current batch of crappy wetness!!
Well, it has been dry most of the time and sometimes even sunny here in Newcastle for the last 3 days - still rather cold and windy, though. But I bet it's going to be really crappy again on the weekend as usual.
Sorry Chaps but down ere in the Safff the washing is out on the line and its right decent .... been gardening most of the day then into town to get those bits and pieces for the French trip in a couple of weeks ... you know, wipes, nurofen, gas cannisters etc ... not that I'm getting excited or anything ! Not in my part of the Saaffff , keep getting the most almighty thunderstorms, and they seem to coincide with me getting on the bike too.
