Nothing special, just a few photos from a day out yesterday 2nd August that I couldn't encourage anyone else to join me on. It must be because of the bike, :mfr_lol:
I had a lovely pub lunch as always at The Lower Lode in Forthampton, an easily achievable 380 mile round trip. The place was extremely busy, plenty of other motorcyclists there on all sorts of rides.
I came back via Whitchurch and Lynn Ravens Café to avoid the boring drag home on the motorway and 50mph average speed cameras which I had for many miles on route! :2guns:
I saw this down by the river opposite the pub and it described my day to a tee.

The next two shots I really like, if I'd have found the owner I'd have asked him/her to move it to a more scenic location so I could have got a better clearer shot of it without other clutter in the shot.

:agree: excellent pictures....however being, as I am, of the 'older' generation I do feel as if I'm being transported back in time when I look at the Black & White examples....blimey that's all that was available when I were a lad...the whole world was in monochrome...even the telly :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol:
OC, B & W can be very atmospheric however I agree that the photo has to suit the style. That's why I've done one pic in B & W but then added a splash of colour in the foreground which I think works better.
On a different note, I can still remember being sat in front of the telly at my Grandparents watching snooker in B & W.....those were the days eh? :mfr_lol:
