Post by: JohnnyTh on July 21, 2015, 11:02:02 AM
I have a noise coming from my GTR. And it disappears when i press my clutch. I belive it to be the thrust bearing. Anyone know somewhere online i can order it?

you'll probably find it is normal.used to bug me especially on the new kawasaki's i have bought ,slight thrust bearing noise ,and as soon as you pull the clutch in it goes away ,best compare yours to somebody elses gtr ,you will then know if you have a problem or not ,

It's virtually impossible to accurately diagnose a 'noise' from a forum posting unless an accompanying video clip is attached.

I'm with Keith on this one ~ however if you are concerned pop along to a dealer and ask him to listen, it may put your mind at rest, as the problem with a 'noise' is that once you've heard it you will be listening for it every time you use the bike

My problem is that my dealer is 2 hrs ride away. So hard to just pop by. But might be the best idea.

Point taken, however it's a good excuse for a ride out...let us know how things develop

What if it makes a noise pulled in as well?
