Post by: Delfox on July 02, 2015, 08:23:56 PM
Have read in the specs that the overall width is 790mm,just wondering where was measured to get that size? I would of thought they would use the widest point on the bike ie Mirrors

No, the mirrors are wider than the panniers... Any bike where the panniers are the widest point is nigh on suicidal when filtering in traffic.

+1 : The mirrors are about an inch wider than the panniers. If you happen to have the 'rear canyon cages' on the GTR (the 'crash bars' that can protect the panniers) that will add almost an inch to the width at the rear - but then, if you're filtering and find the mirrors dont hit car mirrors, you will be OK!
