I have recently tried to adjust the rear spring preload adjustment on my 2013 1400 GTR and find it very difficult to adjust, not sure whether it is partially seized. Has anyone experienced this and any suggestions on how to resolve.
hi and welcome, yes they do sieze , due normally to non use . Unbolt the the adjuster from the frame of the bike and spray some lube inside the knob assembly if you can , try to use something better than wd40 if you have it . keep the upside down and invert it as well to get the lub in. Normally this will free it . If not the shock its self is seized . This sometimes can be free'd up by removing the entire unit and cleaning/ lubing it . Most guys on here do periodically lube up their knob, haha ,
