Title: Procedure for Checking and getting Pre Load set up correctly
Post by: markmacd on May 31, 2015, 09:45:11 PM
Does anyone know the correct procedure for getting the rear and front pre load set up correctly....

Cant seem to find any real consistency apart from a lot of trial and errors...

get your mate to hold the bike steady.

with both feet up bounce up and down. the front and back should go up and down the same amount at the same time.

if it goes up and down a little bit, that's firm. a lot that's soft.

Here's a couple of articles that may help with sag.  May want to do a search for rebound and compression settings too, to get things spot on.  Good luck.  tp
