Title: Zumo 390LM
Post by: Richard on May 28, 2015, 12:50:41 AM
Hi

I have just bought one of these for our Spain etc trip.

The unit itself appears to work well, but the "basecamp" program for the computer is a load of crap, is there an alternative?

Tyre to Travel

Uses Google maps in the background and can directly update SOME Garmin / TomTom units (otherwise export and load).

Ditto tyre to travel .
Plug the Satnav  in and down load the route you planned on your PCs using tyre.

Tyre to Travel is coming up as unsafe to download.

I have never had a problem with it . I used the free version and when they had an offer on I bought the lifetime one with no adverts down the side.

Can't vouch for any download, but it is used by a lot of people.

Could be a false positive from AV software. What does the AV say it has in it?

Hi

MotoGoLoCo.com appears to work well, huge improvement over basecamp.

I will also try Tyretotravel

Thanks
