Title: old gent and a spitfire
Post by: stoketim on May 23, 2015, 08:44:42 AM
WATCH THIS ONE!... (I PROMISE THAT YOU WON'T REGRET IT)

The dignified, modest and courteous old gentleman being interviewed here had never seen this film clip before...
Just watch his face as he realizes that it features him at a time after he began as an 18 year old American reconnaissance volunteer pilot in WWII -  all alone, behind enemy lines, no guns - and no escort protection!
They just don't make them like that anymore..... We owe them so much.
