Title: Bikesafe
Post by: PCPeteUK on May 16, 2015, 01:17:13 AM
I couldn't sleep so just booked myself on a Bikesafe course at Taplow for 19th September - 9 spaces left @ £50 each if anyone else in Thames Valley area fancies it  :innocent:

I did it a couple of years back at tally ho in Birmingham the Saturday  and Sunday.
On the Saturday it was 3 or 4 to each police rider being observed.
On the Sunday they had more police riders available and it was one on one two very good knowledgeable riding days.
I was lucky at the time they received some funding and we got our £100 back or invoice cancelled.
It's well worth doing. And if your interested you could do the IAM with them.

When I did the course on the Sunday the bobby who took me out was on a police livery bike.
And he told me not to worry about speed the only thing he could not sort was speed cameras .
We didn't hang about   :whistling:  you wouldn't believe the amount of people flashing and pointing to the police bike when it was my turn to lead. :mfr_lol:
