If anyone out there has a Baglux / Bagster / Top Sellerie tank cover for 2007 - 2009 vintage, that will allow the fitting of a Bagster tank bag, please PM or reply.
Need one for hol's later this year and would rather recycle than buy a new one.
NB.......recycle does not mean "too tight to buy new"...........it involves saving the worlds resources.....help someone clear "stuff" and may have the side effect of saving me beer fund!
Dick Snow.
Yes i have a black tank cover,£25 plus postage off my 09 GTR ,have loads of bits for it.
Dick, assuming you buy this, if you'd prefer a light grey one (to go with your silver bike ) then I'd be up for a swap. Long story short, like you, I had to get rid of my Givi Tanklock kit when I swapped bikes, and grabbed a Bagster cover and bag via Ebay. The 'steel grey' colour of my Bagster doesn't really go with my 'metallic moondust grey' ie very dark grey GTR.
Just a thought. Let me know if you're interested (although I'm off to Spain & Portugal on the bike Wednesday for 2 weeks...)
Cheers

Please excuse me whilst I scream!
Thanks for offer / options. but just bought a brand new grey one, off the bay, German shop, for a fair bit more than offered deals!
I must attain some of that "patience" stuff from somewhere!
Paul B, please let me know how you get on, myself and the good lady are booked up with Brittany Ferries to do the same in July / August (GONNA BE HOT! :sweatdrop: ) Leon, Porto, then up and back across the top, can't wait!
That's the main reason for changing to the GTR, The Super Ten, however good it was for the rider, is not built for pillion comfort!
Thanks again.

Have you booked a Brittany Ferries touring holiday of Spain/Portugal, perchance?
I did that last August with my wife (as I was too lazy and deficient in speaking Spanish to try and book places myself). It was a fantastic holiday, with 3 to 4 hours between hotels, taking whichever route we wanted, stopping where the hell we wanted en route.
We did that on a CBF1000 which, although it didn't miss a beat, it just wasn't big enough for touring 2 up fully loaded. That's why I got my GTR
I will indeed post an update (and maybe some photos) when I get back from this "lads" trip away :cheesy:
Cheers,
PaulB
Oh yes!
This will be the third year with Brittany Ferries, beltin' value and quality digs!
As the kids are old enuff and self managing, meself and the good lady have rekindled our touring days!
Year 1 was the Picos tour on our GS1200,
Last year was down the west of France at various Brittany Ferries reccomended hotels, finishing again with a relaxing stay in Potes, had the Super Tenere' for that
This year it's Santander, with a portugal loop, this may work, try and paste this route in Google maps:-

If anyone knows any good tarmac in this area please share!
Hi Dick,
If it's this one:
http://www.brittany-ferries.co.uk/media/23276/northern-spain--portugal-explorer-tour-map/lightbox/n-spain_portugal-explorer_base1.jpg (I couldn't get your link to work)
then you're in for a real treat
Let me know if that's the one, and I'll dig out any info I have (which may just be a road in my atlas gone over with a highlighter...)
Cheers
