Title: Gopro settings
Post by: shaggs147 on May 09, 2015, 11:42:21 AM
Hi everyone,
Setting off for my trip to Italy on Sunday, so am arming myself up with plenty of storage for pics and video. I have the Gopro 3 silver, and was wondering what settings I should use for video.  I usually set it on wide angle, but was wondering if I should set it to the normal view instead for video. I've not used the camera for a while, so a little rusty on the settings. How do you set yours?

Cheers
Mark.

I always have mine on the wide view, gives a better perspective of where you are and what the route is like you are travelling through. Plus have it on the highest quality setting if your cards will allow that.

I have mine set on the highest resolution but I have the view set to narrow , which actually is still a very wide shot, I just prefer the more normal looking image the narrow gives

in editing I nearly always add protune rather than when recording as it uses a bit more memory and battery
