We participated in the Brit Butt Rally (Iron Butt Association UK Rally) last weekend and were rather pleased with the result. We've just put a write-up (http://www.thewellers.net/ralliesandrides/Iron%20Butt/BBR2011/bbr2011.htm) on our web sit.
Kevin
Wow, that's quite impressive.
Another great write up Kevin
I saved this till I got home so I could read it in peace and quiet. An excellent achievement, I have to admit I couldn't see a witch on a broom stick, but if you say she's there then I'll believe you!
By the way, you are both mad! ;D

After several hours of staring at a screen I'm sure we could have seen just about anything and once seen it sticks! It's probably more apparent (maybe only to us) in the original route than the track.

<g>. It's really good fun and the people who participate are excellent company - no egos, just a common love of bikes and riding.
If anyone here fancies having a go there's a much shorter one coming up that will give you a taster, please see the attachment.
Thanks for the other comments, we were quite pleased. :)
Kevin
Well it was a shame not to see any other GTRs there but we had a good time anyway. Maybe next year?
Kevin
I couldn't tempt any of you with the 12-hour rally so how about a more challenging one? Entries for the 2012 Brit Butt Rally (http://www.britbuttrally.info/) are now open. Unlike previous years where participation depended on a draw on Christmas Eve this years entry is on a first-come first-served basis.
We all have a lot of fun on these rallies. Go on, you know you want to... :)
Kevin
I actually do want to, but not this time..! One year perhaps.
36 hours? My butt doesn't last more than a couple of hours!
