We are off on the trike for 17 days in June, roughed out route shown on the link.
Portsmouth > Bilbao on the ferry, then anticlockwise loop.
After lots of googling I have included some mountain ranges, scenic bits, Viaduc de Millau, and up to Ussel to visit 2 of my kids.
Taking camping gear and will stay in a few cheep hotels.
1800 miles, 14 days, is this too much? its our first long trike holiday, any thoughts advice appreciated.

That looks like a cracking route. Watch out for rush hour traffic in Barcelona when heading for Andorra. I got caught last year and was a nightmare. Better to leave a bit later.
Consider a slight alteration when you get to Brive. Have a look at going down to Sarlat and then along the Dordogne towards Bergerac and Bordeaux, its a much nicer road that through Periqueux. Have a look at Limeiul on the map. Its the confluence of 2 rivers. Great for canoeing and a really nice cafe/restaurant on the riverbank
1800 miles in a fortnight is eminently do-able. is this 14 days door to door or 14 days riding, as the ferry will take up a good 2 days?

After Brive try Martel and Gluges..................can recommend hotel at base of cliffs (les-falaises.com) Rocamadour Eagles is good show (http://www.rocamadour.biz/rock-rocamadour-eagles.htm)
