So, 2008 vintage GTR arrived on Saturday in place of my XTZ1200.
Bought from DK Motorcycles, heard varying reports, both good and bad, but the deal I was offered made it a no-brainer.
Couldn't help notice the amount of different cans DK do for the GTR, under Delkevnic name.
Will be riding mainly panniers off, and yes, I know that standard pipe sounds good but it's massive and lacking in style.
So, decided by looking at all the cans onEbay, the Dlekevinic 350mm looked the best in the pics.
So, one came home with me and the bike, thought the £129 price was good, but had a good discount on top.
So, pics below with the appearance pre swap, old and new, and new can on.
I really think this is a great change, looks the business, and the sound of the DK pipe is good, not loud or offensive by any means, with baffle it is just a tad throatier, with baffle out......nice.....especailly on the overrun!
DK pipe quality, excellent, finish, good, fitment, so easy to change, all brackets included, just need a tube of clear silicon to seal the joints, well impressed.
So, now for the heated grips, grip pups, givi plate and wire in the Maxia, keep me busy and out the house for a bit! :cheesy:
just be careful with after market cans, some are ok but most upset the running of the bike, we have had a few newbies on here with such problems in the past

Looks nice that exhaust
If you start at the last pic, and work up to the first, that's exactly what happened on my driveway! :cheesy:
Cheers
