Title: insurance renewal -- SHUTUP
Post by: viper on April 21, 2015, 08:11:40 PM
renewal time , last year I paid £178 with Swinton and was well chuffed. This year the renewal came through at £143 , well chuffed again !

however went onto the old gocompare and fed in all the info and then waited for the results to come back

£85 with Bennets...............SHUTUP   I shouted

been with bennets before but one year they went from £350 up to £1000 for no reason , so i moved to Motorcycle direct and got it for £280

had a look through the policy and it all looks tickety toobo and standard , 90 days euro cover , 400 total excesses.

at this rate is going to cost more to tax it !!

Three bikes this year - GTR, Fireblade and Z750R cost me £299....  £100 per bike.

I was a bit upset with that but paid it anyway.  reason for being upset - I can only ride one at a time.

But don't bother with Bennetts if you have lots of mods on your bike(s) as you may find they refuse to quote, citing "too many modifications", as happened to me.

I was somewhat surprised as that's never happened to me before.
