Here's a 5 minute film of one of my favourite roads -  the A483 in mid Wales

Good stuff :biker3: although I didn't think much of your fellow rider who overtook you with that HGV in the layby on the opposite side, could he see if it had a driver at the wheel from his starting position ? andif it did just because no indicator was present (from the HGV) it doesn't mean it wasn't going to pull out, of course if he had all the information he needed then I stand corrected.

Great road that, even though I live in Norwich I've ridden it twice

I often ride that route, although it is nowhere near home now. I did, however grow up in Worcestershire and it was a popular destination for us all then. Now, I stay at "Radnor Revivals" near to Crossgates a couple of times most years and hire one of their wooden lodges with whoever decides to tag along or turn - up.

Last visit was September 2014, we are next there in June.

When I go that way, I always try to take one of the older bikes, as riding the Welsh mountain roads on 1970's Honda Fours makes me feel young again (believe me, there is not much else that does that now!).
