Title: lowering kits
Post by: gunslinger on January 25, 2015, 03:41:51 PM
Hi troops, has any one lowered their bike using a kit? If so what have you used?was it worth it?how much lower did it achieve?
I,ve already had the seat lowered and have a pillion and camping gear on the bike a lot of the time .Would lowering it be to much?

lowered mine by an inch - for me it makes me feel far more at home on the bike although I can't lift it onto the centre stand without assistance anymore :)
Can't remember what dog bones I bought but they are all pretty much the same.

Hi try Muzzys lowering link arms in gold i got a quick efficient  service lowered my 07 by 1.5 inch approx allowing me to put both feet down ... its obviously  harder to put the beast on the centrestand so i fitted a project D lifting arm to the left rear passenger peg great addition BUT not cheap
