Not to worry if it doesn't.  I'm sure you can sell it for half the price including shipping to someone on this forum.

Ive bought one too. What position do users find optimum for least turbulence?
I'm 5'10"

Mine hasn't arrived yet. Am i expecting too much to be wafting along in a silent bubble?

I had a MRA screen and although it was a tad better than the 2010 stock screen a quiet bubble its most defiantely not, ive had 5 screens on the bike and the conclusion is there is not substitute for sheer size, the bigger the quieter in my experience

Mra screen fitted tonight.  It's tiny!
Will let you know how it is tomorrow.

OK MRA screen fitted yesterday. so far no massive difference from the standard one. (i've only done 4 miles and to be honest not got out of 3rd gear.) more details to follow

MRA screen is no different at all to standard 2010 screen.
Disappointed

sorry to hear that , I found a slight improvement but not as much as id hoped

try and send it back unused .

ive got a brand new puig you can have for £90 , its a lot bigger

i'm just down the road! why aren't you using the puig? is it tinted? i don't want to be sat behind a barn door but i also am convinced there is a quiet spot to be found at motorway speeds with the right screen.

ive got the calsci screen fitted and its great, but its huge and it is a barn door and looks stupid, I liked the look of the puig and bought it on an impulse at 140 quid late last year. Its not tinted and im not sure you would want a tinted one, at times you may have to look through the screen at its full height and also having a large tinted screen is very visable and screams large screen, at least if its clear its much less noticeable.

I decided that there is no substitute for a barn door and put my comfort over appearance , I do have to say that the curve of the puig looks the best of all the screens, the nicest of the bunch to look at

If you need any dimensions I can provide and I could even take a side by side pic v the stock . With dimensions you could make a cardboard one to see its footprint. You could always even come over on try it on the bike , cant let you test ride it though , its still in original packet with stickers still on it

Another vote for the Calsci. I bought the large wide one second hand on ebay. I've got used to its looks now, and the size of the Gtr makes it look reasonably  in proportion. Its not perfect, but gives enough air flow in summer and protection from the elements in the winter. Overall, a very good screen. You won't be the first on here to buy several screens before you find one you like. I believe the spoiler you fit to your original screen  with Velcro is also effective... sorry, forgot the bloody name of it..... Debs will know!

Just ride with the standard screen in its lowest position.

The only time I raise mine is if it is chucking down with rain and then I wouldn't want a barn door in my eye line.

Thanks Viper,
I'll keep your kind offer in mind - it might be that i'm asking for the impossible but if i hunker down there is a quiet spot so it should be achieveable with the right screen.

I have a car because I need one, I have a bike because I WANT one. When did anyone last go for a 'pleasure drive' in a car- that's the difference.

:agree:

I use the jeep through the winter and when I go fishing the amount of fishing gear I carry would need to alter the rack and panniers on the GTR  :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol:

So back to consumer advice...

The MRA screen is no different to the standard 2010 screen.

Ok advice needed.
I have the standard screen fitted to a 58 plate GTR, great in the lowest position but when I raise it I get buffeted by the wind and feel as though I'm being pulled forward.
I am six foot any suggestions.
Thanks

My next bike will be a convertible and believe you me, that will be a car for driving with pleasure in the spring/summer/fall months...  But now I have three four wheeled vehicles and none of them are really driven for pleasure.

Hello,
I have a barely used MRA screen for sale. It will be better than the 2008 standard as it does have the extension on it. it's no different for me as the 2010 has a larger standard screen anyway and the MRA is about the same.

You need something like the C Bailee's screen. A good few inches taller than the 2010 standard GTR screen. I'm only 5'11" but the aftermarket screen made all the difference. God knows how riders get on when they're 6'4" + :mfr_lol:

Its a shame that Kawasaki didn't address this seriously with the introduction of their 2010 model.

I haven't got one at all now as I switched to the K1600 a few months ago. I had the one on the right, The Euro Tour screen & it worked a treat. http://www.sportouring.com/gallery.php?sectionHeaderActive=200&rangeChoosen=540
