it's a model aeroplane and some good video editing.
Real or not (I couldn't decide) the late, great Neil Williams did something not dissimilar in (I think) 1966 when a wing on a Zlin Trener folded during aerobatics. He flew the aircraft inverted to maintain positive pressure on the wing until a few feet from the ground, then rolled upright and landed!
One thing is certain, only a very few pilots in the world could have successfully recovered from such a dire situation.
