Title: MOT day tomorrow.
Post by: Lonewolf on May 15, 2011, 01:05:50 PM
I'm taking the GTR to our local Kawasaki dealership tomorrow to get it tested. Its recently had new tyres, all the lights and indicators work. The horn beeps when you tell it to & the brakes are in a good state.

What else could I check before I take it down?

Rear reflector and number plate size

The number plate is a standard one and it has the original reflector on.  ;D

Anything else?

Personally, I wouldn't take it to the dealer. On mine, it was the number plate, led lights, bafler, and headlight aim. Managed to resolve them all before the mot started :)

We have a bike shop less than a mile from home, http://www.eccleshillmotorcycles.com/ and although they now do their own MOT's I just thought it would make sense to take it to a Kawasaki dealership in case it needed and parts. MOT price is the same either way, I just thought the main dealer might look after it better.

Anyway, NB, shouldn't you be entertaining your Niece?  ;D

Lol, how true! I'm bored. I was going to go out today but couldn't be arsed.  Slept in, been dragged round a garden centre, roll on Tuesday when I'm back at work. I can have a rest there.  ;D

Ps ... I am sure YOUR bike will be fine ... not too sure about NB's though , what with all those mods on it it would be hard to tell what should and shouldn't be on there !!!  ;D ;D
